such a beautiful city!

what a coincidence!!

After having really bad weather last week (hard to believe it's actually june), it was slightly nice day yesterday, 
then my brazilian friend who i met in barcelona when my friend and i were queueing for Sagrada Familia and i decided to catch up as first "proper" meet.
His friend  joined us as well and went to St James Park to chill out and walk around before heading to Moroccan restaurant in Soho to enjoy nice meal and shisha which was one of the things i missed for a while!!!

Meeting new people is always nice and interesting, just talking a lot to know each other.
We found out that we all were in Barcelona at almost same time last month, also the girl and i share same birthday!!!! (even though i'm 1 year older..)
What a coincidence!
Isn't it great!?


I had a super great time and will definitely go back to the Moroccan restaurant! ;)

Diamond Jubilee

Queen即位60周年をお祝いするDiamond Jubilee
街中ユニオンジャックが飾られて、お祭りムード一色。

そして6月2日～4日は4連休で、いろんなイベントがありました。
世の中4連休でもスタバは年中無休なので、日曜日以外は仕事だった私。
まぁイギリス人でもないし、それほどDiamond Jubileeにご執心でもなかったのだけど、友人Italianに誘われて、それぞれの友達と、1000艘以上の船がテムズ川をパレードするDiamond Jubilee Pageantを見に行ってきました。
・・・というか、結果的には愛国心の強いイギリス人と背の高いヨーロッパ人に埋もれてただけ。
背の低い私は背伸びしたりジャンプしたりしてチラッと船は見えたけど、肝心のQueenは一体どこだかわからず。
友人Italianが撮った写真を見て、あーこれね。程度でした。

少し前までの素晴らしい天気から一転、雨も降って寒かったこの日。早々に退散し、コーヒー飲んでホッと一息。
その後は友達と2人ガールズトークに花をさかせ・・・とりあえず充実した、楽しい1日でした。
